Well the day is finally here. The police called today and said I could pick up my ccw permit tomorrow. I have been for some time looking at the beretta 92fs for my first handgun. The only hang up is I don't see much info out there about good holsters for them. Any of you have a favorite holster for this firearm?
Thanks

Hello! I registered (after lurking for quite some time) to respond to your thread. I have also recently had just the same issue you are having with my best friend. We both got our LTC's a few weeks ago and while I chose a S&W 1911, he chose a Beretta 92FS. After doing a bit of research with/for him we both decided to purchase Crossbreed Supertuck IWB holsters for our weapons. Now, alot of people will knock the 92FS as being not a good CCW weapon (to each their own) but to date neither of us have had an issue with our holsters. I am absolutely in love with mine. If there is anything else I can help you with I would be more than happy to try and give it a shot!.......pun not intended

I just got a Kholster and have been wearing it everyday for about a week and it is great. It is not as nice looking as the Crossbreed, but it is a concealment holster so looks shouldn't matter. Plus you can modify them any way you like and will not void the warranty, and they are about $35 cheaper. If your are interested you can use my rebate code and get 10% of off your order, the code is 04-4268, just follow the directions on the site.

Here is a Pic of the one I ordered for my PT111

I don't see much info out there about good holsters for them.

There's a reason for that. The 92FS is a superb combat handgun, but it is also enormous, especially for a 9mm. The first rule of a gunfight is to bring a gun, and honestly, I will be amazed if you carry that 92 consistently for more than a week.

I owned a Beretta 92 for a couple of years. I never carried it concealed mainly because I didn't get a holster for it. I carried my 5" 1911 more often than the Beretta. FWIW, I settled in on a Glock 19 as my EDC gun and haven't looked back. You get the same number of rounds at ten ounces less weight and an inch less off the front and bottom. I do love the Beretta 92's but you do have to get creative if you want to carry them every day.

i bought a 92fs as my first handgun. cc was a total pain. it is much to large imho for anything other than an owb carry. i tried mine iwb, sob and owb, the owb was the only truly comfortable way i could fine to carry it. they are a fine firearm but i feel they are more suited to a duty type holster that would be worn on a pistol belt.

I have a Comptac Pro Undercover for mine. I actually like carrying the gun. I have gotten used to it.

When I carry my P2000 with the shorter barrel at 3:30 carry, the edge of the holster sometimes starts to bother my muscle there - especially if I am sitting in the car a while. But I have no issues with the longer barrel/longer holster of the Beretta 92. Honestly, I sometimes forget I have it on because I've just gotten so used to it.

I haven't used one for the Beretta 92 but I really like Raven Concealment holsters and mag pouches. They make a model for the Beretta. The only draw back is that it takes a while to get them.

I use the Galco Cop holster. The size of the Beretta compared to other mid-to-full sized pistols is not really an issue if you are carrying outside the waistband. If you want to go with an inside the waistband setup than the 92FS is not the right choice.

Just chimming in, the only time I carry my 92fs is in the Fall/Winter with a shoulder holster and jacket. Never tried it any other time.

I don't know. I was carrying a USPc45 - and I saw that the grip length was almost the same as the Beretta 92FS. I finally tried to give the Beretta a shot. I am not used to carrying the 92, and I prefer it over my other carry guns.

I own a Beretta 92f and would not have any drawbacks at all about carrying it for CC except it is a little lagre if it were a compact I would probably carry it much more than I do. I have a DeSantis 007 3 slot pancake that rides really nice .
