Grumble, grumble.
My hitherto dependable mostly Springfield fanged me twice today. Once on the reload, once on the first shot. Different brand and style magazines. I may have to relegate the rest of that batch of ammo to practice. I was not going to resupply that blunt roundnose coated bullet anyhow.

135 gr BBI. No different from a dozen others on the market.
This batch was loaded with Remington primers which give odd effects in Colt and Smith, I had meant to use them up in the Springfield. I'll try them in my STI.

Otherwise, back to my usual 147 Xtreme plated for ESP.

Tried them out today.
Replicated one malfunction exactly with 135s in SA. Did not get the other, but did have a stovepipe WHO.
No problems with 147s, same magazines, same gun. Lesson, stick with what works.

Tried 135s in STI. All fired, RP primers looked no worse than in SA. So I know where I can use them up. Enough for two 6 stage matches.
