"Can quality 9mm be reloaded cheaper than this?"

You don't mention what your uses are? My practice ammo is plated bullets with the mucho economical Titegroup powder in a load that's very accurate for IDPA, etc. Since the 9mm is finicky both as a cartridge and as a gun it's fun {and some work} to find a load/bullet combo that really wrings out the accuracy potential of a perticular gun/bbl. Some of the loads have stumbled across shoot markedly better than the FED "Gold Match" ammo that cost $$$$$.

Reloading the 9 is definately worth it if you have the time and are not just out to blast away a whole bunch of rounds with your brain turnd off, etc.

I reload for 9mm because . . .

1. I can make custom loads for different purposes. I have a great light load for IDPA type competition, general range use and teaching new shooters.

2. My reloads are high quality using quality bullets, powders and primers. One of my friends said that my reloads look better than the factory rounds he uses.

3. 9mm brass is abundant and usually free since most have buddies who don't reload 9mm.

4. I enjoy reloading and reloading for my 9's gives me more reloading time.

5. I shoot more than the average person.

6. I already have the equipment to reload for other more expensive calibers. You can save a bunch if you reload for .45 acp and .357.

If you are just a casual shooter, it doesn't pay to reload.

is 21 per 500 your price shipped? because you can get fmj or hp's from midwya in bulk for that much.
That's at the local gun shop (and it's higher, now!) I need to shop midwayusa...
