I found CCI Blazer 115gr 9mm FMJ at Sports Academy here in Pensacola, FL for $4.99 per 50. That's cheaper than Winchester Whitebox Valuepacks at Walmart. I'm definitely buying there again.

I bought some CCI Blazer from Academy for $4.99 / 50 last week. Not bad since I don't need the brass to reload yet. I think the Winchester White Box was $5.99 / 50. Not sure what WalMart is running these days.

Man, that Blazer stuff scares me to use. I don't know why, but I expect to open the box to see brass, powder, primers, and loose bullets flailing around in the box.

How much are your value packs? Mine are 9.97 here.

Blazer used to be my main choice... but not lately. The value packs and miwall corp at the gun show always are better deals.

Winchester Whitebox Valuepacks at Walmart are $10.97 here in South Florida.

We don't have a Sports Academy here, Sports Authority we do have.

Dallas Academy Sports and Outdoors sells 9mm Blazer for $3.99/box everyday.

I've shot 3.5 cases of the stuff over the past couple of years without a hitch.

$87/1000 is almost cheap enough for me to moth-ball the Dillon XL-650... almost! :D

I used to think that way too... until one day I had more damn brass than I had places to keep it. :uhoh:

There is something wickedly good about going to the range and not worrying about looking for brass... :p Plus, some events I shoot don't/can't allow you to pick up brass after shooting a stage. :scrutiny:

As a matter of fact I don't pick up my WWB brass most of the time. I have a big tub of Speer brass that I bought on eBay that's only on its 2nd firing, so I just let the Winchester stuff go. But, if one were just getting started, saving that WWB brass would be a smart first step!

$3.99 is correct. Stopped in Nashville last spring on my way to Talladega and came home with 4000 rounds.
