9mm barrel blank

So im a happy camper I just got my quarterly bonus at work and im gonna finally get started on my 9mm AR build. Im gonna do the barreled upper first, starting with the barrel first of course.

Decided to buy a CMMG MK9 instead of building my own.

Sounds like a good plan rather than turning your own barrel. The 9mm is the easiest AR barrel for a DIY job but why bother when quality warranted set-ups are about.

What mags does the CMMG take?

It takes any colt pattern mag so CProducts or metalforms will work.

I'm in the same boat. I have a 9mm and .45ACP Marlin Camp Carbines that I love to shoot, I just end up treating them like collector items because I don't want to ding the wood and such. So I'm looking for a psitol cal. carbine. Obviously 9mm is the cheapest, but it's amazing what a 10mm or .357Sig can do through a 16" barrel. Oh did I mention I have .357Mag and .44Mag lever actions?

As I stated in your other thread there are 3 or 4 AR companies selling 9mm set-ups, packages, kits, parts, etc. in Shotgun News. Might open your options further, I know it does for me.
