I'm having trouble with some 9mm reloads. Approximately 15% of my 9mm reloads will not pass a case guage test (famous Glock fired brass).
Loading on Dillon 650 w/ Dillon dies. Just for kicks, I also tried sizing 25 rds on a RCBS press w/ Lee die. Same results either way. First 100 rds loaded had a 12% failure to pass a Wilson case guage. I checked everything out, then loaded 100 more rds. 18% of these also failed the Wilson guage. The brass has a slight bulge just above the head. It's located in a area that is just below the portion of the case that's sized. After examining my Glock pistol, I know why the bulge is there.
How do I load once fired (Glock) brass so that it will pass a case guage test?
Thanks!
