I'm beginning to reload 9mm (I know - I just like reloading!) and purchased a box of Meister 115g RN Hard Cast bullets. Unfortunately I meant to purchase 125g but for some reason ordered the 115:banghead: . Anyway, my Speer manual doesn't have data for 115g Lead. Does anyone have load data for 9mm, 115g L RN Hard Cast using either Alliant Unique or Blue Dot? Thanks....

Lyman data has a 115 grain lead bullet load:

Unique: 4.5 to 5.7 grains
Blue Dot: 5.8 to 8.4 grains

RCBS data has a 115 grain lead bullet load:

Unique: 5.2 to 5.7 grains

Neither of the bullets shown are round nose. Hope this helps.

My Lyman #47 manual shows 115gr.bullet #358345 (#2 alloy) .997 OAL as:

** Unique 4.5 gr. start @1025 fps./ 22,200 cup
5.7 gr. max.@1210 fps./ 31,500 cup

** Designates use of Winchester cases and primers

Blue Dot 5.8 gr. start @983 fps/ 16,800 cup
8.4 gr. max. @1339fps/ 32,300 cup

I've used 4.7 gr Unique for 125 gr hard cast lead and 5.2 gr Unique for 115 gr hard cast lead for many years. Federal, Remmington, CCI, and Winchester primers have all worked well for me and made no detectable difference, so I use what's cheapest when I need more.

I've not loaded many 9mm lately as I've been shooting the CCI Aluminum Blazer 115 gr FMJ that Academy used to have for $3.86/50, now that the price has gone up nearly 25% on these, I'm starting to shoot 147 gr hard cast lead using 3.7gr Unique and Winchester primers. These are a great steel plate load.

Thanks Guys

Thanks for the info, especially you Doug B. for the OAL. I intend to crimp on the cannalure(?) but the OAL is very helpful. I'll start with the Blue Dot this evening.
Thanks again everyone....:D

Mugsie taper crimp only if these are for an auto loader.Tha 9mm headspaces on the case mouth.
