So i’ve never shot 9mm+p.
I’m wondering if it’s ”ok” to shot it in a Cz Shadow2? Or will I mess the gun up if I train exclusive with that kind of ammo?
Heard people say things like ”you have to ask the maker” and ”not all barrels can handle it” or ”in most modern pistols it’s ok”

I agree with fxvr5 to check the owners manual and/or contact CZ directly. The Shadow series are set up for competition and have recoil/hammer springs setup for such and often in competition very light loads are used to minimize recoil. As setup +P ammo may cause excess wear especially if a lot of it is used. A couple magazines here and there probably won't be an issue.

Don’t know what to make of this???

From Shadow2 manual:
Ammunition
Always use ammunition in an allowable production design which is in compliance with standards applicable for ammunition manufacturers and is approved by the CIP (Permanent International Commission for Firearms Testing) or SAAMI (Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers' Institute Inc. of the United States). The use of other cartridges could damage the handgun or cause injury to the shooter. When using factory-made ammunition with standard speed, the use of firearms produced by Česká zbrojovka a.s. is safe. Check the ammunition you are going to use to make sure that it corresponds to the caliber of your firearm. Commercially produced ammunition is clearly marked with the caliber on the bottom or around the bottom of each cartridge case.

From TSO manual:
Ammunition
Use only ammunition of appropriate caliber, which are in compliance with CIP regulations (International Proof Commission for Firearms) or SAAMI (Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers' Institute Inc. of the United States) and IPSC rules. The use of other cartridges could damage the handgun or cause malfunctions or injury to the shooter.

9MM +P is in compliance with SAAMI. I had standard CZ75s, and shot +P and/or equivalent handloads in all of them. If I had the CZ you're considering, I would not hesitate to do the same with that pistol.....ymmv

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your interest in handguns designed and made by Ceska Zbrojovka a.s.

Our answer to you is as follows:

Just like in any pistol, +P ammunition will accelerate wear on moving parts. It’s ok to use, we just recommend using it sparingly.

The only ammos we don’t warranty are +P+ (since they have no spec to be held to) and handloads (since human error can be a factor).

CZs are stoutly built with CIP and NATO loads in mind, which are halfway to +p presssure. The fact that they will warranty the gun when using +p means there's really no danger. The locking block and barrel of my P10-C are clearly stouter than any other striker-fired gun, and I would not fear hot ammunition with their (very proven) CZ-75 based guns either.

That's about what I expected. Personally I'd only carry +p for defense.

I've been interested in a Shadow 2 for awhile.

Just got a CZ shadow 2 as well. Sweet shooter. I would not be afraid to shoot +p ammo. If anything maybe put a heavier recoil spring if needed. It weighs 46 oz!
