I know pricing can be all over the board but just recently got an email from buds for a NIB M&P 9 2.0 for $359. Not in the market for this particular gun but it’s been under my radar. Last PSA had them for $499 and now $559. I wonder why it’s so cheap? New model coming out?

I’m a Glock guy but see that departments are switching to the M&P and 9mm. Never shot one myself but this is too good of a deal. Never ordered from buds either. Might also order a G43X.

M&P 9 2.0 had been coming up on my radar also. I need another gun like I need another hole in the head, but you can't take it with you, right?

Screaming good deal, but I already have too much invested in my Ruger SR9 pistols & magazines to get into a redundant one of a different brand.

I’ve noticed them showing up under $400 as well. Rural King has them for $389.

I wonder if S&W is looking to release a new variant or generation. I got my gen 1 Shield45 for a crazy good deal. About a month and a half later, S&W released the 2.0 Shield.

Or maybe the market is saturated with polymer framed 9mm pistols and S&W is looking to revive interest.

In any case, it’s nice to see that some things are priced better than they were previously.

I got same email and it reminds me of the M&P9C 2.0 I bought from Bud’s back in 2020, gun was a couple of years old but new $339.

My guess FS aren’t selling like the littler models.

That would be my guess too. With new shooters and ccw holder, there is a huge market for sub compact or micro guns and not full size. I already have a carry G27 but want to get a G43x. I would still pretty much prefer a compact or full size as they are easier to shoot and hit with.

I like the idea of a 15 round subcompact 9mm. Reviews are iffy on those mags but if it works then great. Other than that I really have no reason to not carry my G27. Still worth a try.

S&W came out with a new trigger design recently, almost all of the new 2.0s have the new design that the M&P 10mm has. The original trigger models are all basically blowout priced, my LGS has them for $389-$449.

Massive stock on new guns! Let me find a YT video that explains why… basically, get ready for GUN DEALS!!!

here it is!

Yes, it makes a lot of sense. I have a few guns I want to order from PSA but can’t justify the shipping as it was free shipping last week. I did score a few sweet deals on “pandemic” guns, just cheap firearms that flooded the market and no one bought. A few of the shotguns I bought were $150 each.

with turmoil in the world not every thing will be going up in prices. Look at Turkey and their crash economy. They have 1 industry left, Guns, and they can produce then cheap. Gun production in South America will be cheaper.

Now if we could only find cheap ammo and primers at even inflated prices! I have too many guns as it is. No sense buying more if it costs too much to shoot them.

In December 2019, before the world went crazy, Academy offered a Christmas special of the M&P 2.0 9c (no safety) for $370, throwing in a $100 gift card (ammunition!). It was in a cardboard box instead of the old blue plastic lockable case, but heck! I got to the local store the afternoon I received the advertising flyer. Watching advertised prices for the same gun approach $600 since then have just thanked my lucky stars.
I can only guess that either M&P units cost a lot less to manufacture and ship than the MSRP indicates, or S&W likes to use it as a loss leader from time to time.

S&W updated the trigger in almost all of the 2.0 models, the old models are clearance priced.

They should at least call them 2.5 models or something. If anyone knows of a 9mm CORE model for a good price either 1.0 or 2.0 LMK.

$359 for the M&P-9 2.0? I'd pick up a couple more at that price. Don't need any (I have two of my own already and it was my last issued duty pistol) but heck, they're nice pistols. Its ergonomics are excellent, accuracy is acceptable, reliability is typically great, and the 2.0 trigger is way better than the original version. The Compact 2.0 is a superb pistol, wish we could see that kind of pricing on them...

Although I'm kind of meh on Glocks, I liked the 43X so much, I bought one for my daughter.

I have the 2.0 3.6" compact and it's a wonderful pistol. I ordered the new version w/ optic cut and trigger today. My only complaint is the tall sights, I don't care about co-witness so I'll probably just pull them off if they don't work with my holster.
