9mm same dimensions

Is there a brand of 9mm ammo that makes a good self defense JHP round and also a practice FMJ round that are exactly the same dimensions and same fps, etc? Specifically Federal, Speer, Winchester, and Hornady. Preferably, the practice FMJ would be available locally at stores like walmart and sporting goods stores.

Most 115 grain FMJ practice loads seem pretty wimpy these days. One exception seems to be CCI Lawman FMJ ammo. It matches up real nice with Speer (CCI) Gold Dot ammo as far as felt recoil and point of impact.

Winchester USA9JHP is the best alternative. 1225fps and 383fpe available at places like sportsmans warehouse in boxes of 50 for 14.00.....hard to beat that and at that price just use it both ways.......

Walmart has good pricing on Winchester ammo.

115 fmj
and 147 hollow points.

I use hydra-shok for self defence it shoots a little higher.
