I am looking for your experience loading the 9mm 105grain Guarddogs. I am looking for a full power load. I have many pistol powders. I can and do read the manuals. Info is sparse for this projectile.
I am asking for your experience. Thanks and best wishes.

The bullets measure .665". They are long for their weight. That is, why I need to be careful with the OAL( and charge weight) and would like hear people's experiences reloading them.

I have not reloaded any guard dog's before.
I have been playing around with barnes 115gr. which is also a long bullet I think~.693.
Maybe barnes load data with-EDIT: "WILL" help you to a starting load ladder?

Applied guesstimation, average a couple sets of charges for different 100s, average a couple sets of charges for different 115s should give you an idea of the range.
Start with the 115gr start charges and work up, keeping you "average" MAX in mind.
Even if you had listed data you would need to work up to a Full power charge weight. IMHO
Plunk to get the longest OAL that will work in your gun and then go maybe a hair shorter.
May not matter for what you after but sometimes just a bit below the MAX will shoot better.
If it came down to it I would say shot placement is going to be far more important than 20-50fps.
Velocity helps but shot placement is critical.

CFE-P and BE86 gave me good high side results with 100s.
I haven't had a chance to try my Silhouette yet but Ramshot does list +P data.

Might try emailing Alliant/Hodgdon/Ramshot/.... (depending on what powders you have)and ask if they have any data, always worth a try.
