9mm suggestions?

Depends on what you want as far as the pistol. Aluminum/steel/polymer frame? Just range or home defense may as well get a full sized. CCW? Compact. What fits your hand the best? Recommended guns I have experience with in no particular order?
1. CZ-75.
2. Sig 2022 9mm. A real sleeper.
3. XD or Glock whicever floats your boat.
4. Stoeger 9mm.
5. S&W M&P.
Lots more. Define what you want it for. Find the one that fits your hand best. Rent it at a range if possible and shoot it. Should lead to a good purchase experience.

Everyone should have a Sig p226 and a Glock 19 but since the Sig is a little out of the $500 price range, go for the Glock.

Well, I went out today to do some "hands on" browsing to check out some pistols, and at the third shop I went to, I fell in love!!!

Some had traded in a Smith & Wesson 5906 that has had maybe 3-4 magazines put through it, it is in practically mint condition. 2 16 round magazines, box and all papers still together.

Just couldn't pass it up!

Got a birthday coming in a few weeks, and I've decided to add a 9mm to the gang.

Any feedback and/or suggestions for a good decent 9mm auto in roughly the $500.00 range?

With ambidextrous safety lever for this southpaw.

How hard are extra magazines to get for CZ's in the states?

Easy to get.

My choice is the cZ 75 Compact. A good solid pistol that feels just right for me.
