9mm versus .45?

WOW! You had me worried there. Nothing like stirring up a bunch of rattlesnakes just before the week end.
I'm out of here for the week end:D

I know a cop who had to shoot a guy with his .45. He hit the guy in the arm which spun him around....twice. Then the arm literally fell off. The guy gave up right there.

He also read about a cop the next town over who shot a crackhead 97 times with his 9mm, in the head, and the guy still stabbed him. Poor guy.....

The fact is that 9mm only makes badguys angry, while the .45 is basically a death ray.

9mm and .45 are passe, I'm gonna get me one of those 45mm they keep talking about on the news, preferably in a fully automatic revolver.

All of you already know that the vastly superior 9X19 makes the obese, lumbering .45acp look like a cap-gun.:neener: If .45acp were a person,it would find it impossible to go kayaking....unless the kayak was a tandem model.

I went to the range today and shot 10mm, .38, .500 Mag, and .22LR. What are these "9mm" and ."45 ACP" you speak of? Which one is better?

pshaw.

Einstein proved 200 years ago that the noise made by the mere racking of a shotgun slide makes burglers poop their pants and stars go supernova.

Wait a second here... Spartacus's theory about Einstine... Oh my god!

Racking shotgun = Brown noise. It all makes sense!

Shot him 97 times and all of them hit; or was he a terrible shot and missed 90 of 97 times? Maybe he was an excellent shot and all 97 went through the same hole.

My new bullet beats them all. I call it the 9mm S&W Magnum. Its a 500 case necked down to 9mm and shoots a 115grn bullet at 3 million FPS. It has a 5 meter kill radius.:)

Both are obsolete, the other day I made a sparkler bomb gun in my basement.

You guys need more time on the range!

Jeez, here I bit on the topic too, ready to launch one more time on the goodness of big bullets over annoying ones - I thought you were serious! Still - the range isn't open yet, so it must be THR time. I'm looking forward to my own Particle Beam Weapon for CCW, but last I was told, we're still working on batteries that'll store enough "ammo" and still be smaller than a couple of boxcars. My favorite weapon is still the 40mm grenade launcher, but the Army made me leave mine behind when my enlistment was over. Too bad, the flechette round could be handy in an alley at night

y'all are barkin' up da wrong tree...

it's all about the FN USA Five-Seven handgun in 5.7 x 28 and it's miraculous bust through any barrier and dissolve the innerds of whatever or whoever you are shooting...it's like having 20 death rays loaded into a single magazine...:neener:

now for those of us that cannot afford this latest death ray, there is the economical and almost as effective Kel-Tec PLR-16 chambered in 5.56 NATO/.223 Remington...you can have it in 30 round capacity and it usually takes 2 shots to liquify the innerds of whatever or whoever you are shooting, so it's like getting 15 death rays per magazine...:neener:

I know, I am over the edge with this one...  :what: :scrutiny:

FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW...THIS IS A JOKE!!! HAHAHAHA!!!:neener:

DoubleTapp and SkaerE,
You guys both realize Wilson now makes an enhanced power guide rod that will juice the 40Watt Phased Plasma Rifle up to 45Watt's, but at the moment both Wilson and Bownells list them as backordered......:p

Dang, wish I could go to the range today, but weekend or no weekend I'm working today.....:(

the 45 plama stream might be too much recoil for some people, and now that NATO has moved to the 40watt standard our government carries the M40watt.
