I have acquired a modest collection of foreign made 9x18 handguns; a P-64, Bulgarian Makarov and CZ-82. Are there any other foreign made handguns (other than Makarovs made in other countries) in 9x18 to add to my collection?

I don’t want the IJ-70 as it is a import model rather than military police issue.

I recommend a Polish P-83 WANAD.

Great little guns and were used as recently as Iraq by the Polish military.

I think J&G Sales was running a special on them ladt week. They may still be on sale.

I just went out shooting today WOOHOO! And got to try out a PA 63, which was tons of fun, and seemed well made, but does have a stout recoil. Nothing too bad, my son shot it, and liked it. It is light, and seems well made. I am thinking it would make a decent CC gun.

A collector probably should have an example of the other 9x18, the 9mm Ultra (9mm Police). The only gun made in quantity was the PP Super, but one can always hope for one of the really rare guns in that chambering from the other makers - SIG Sauer (P230), Mauser (HSc-80), and Benelli (B76).

Forget the PA63, get a PM63

Remove the stock, foregrip, and 'duckbill' and it's basically a large blowback handgun
