9x19 mm, long slide 6", what's on the market?

The 952 is a nice looking gun and shoots well. I know a guy at the range that had one a while back, he was always complaining about issues with the barrel bushing setup from memory.

I haven't tried the American P210, I have an original Swiss P49 (P210-2) fitted with adjustable target sights (have the fixed as spare) that is an excellent shooter but as far as a 25m target gun my S&W 52-2 is still the better choice.

Mogo, only ever saw pictures of the 952; even the 52s are uncommon in this neck of the woods.
For the OP, guessing they aren't common overseas as well.

I’m not sure what it would be marketed as over there but the Tanfoglio copy-ish of a CZ pistol would be an option. The higher end guns should be around the budget point but should meet your requirements.

My first thought was VP9 match but it has a 5.5" barrel... And double stack...

Might need to get a 1911 if you can get some of the cheap "imports"

Ok, my first thought on this was an Astra Model 400 for the (from memory) 150mm barrel and being 9x19.
One for sale, even, if in MN: https://www.gunsinternational.com/g...1921--400--pistol-in-9mm.cfm?gun_id=102161141

Ok, actually, my first thought was the Modelo 901, for having (IIRC) 160mm barrels

Sadly, most of the 400s in Europe are likely going to be in 9 largo, or one of the similar "flavors" of 9x23.

They look a tad ungainly, but are not uncomfortable to shoot.
This is Ian's take: https://www.forgottenweapons.com/from-service-sidearm-to-match-gun-the-astra-400-target-model/

I have right at six 9x23 rounds through a loaned 400. It probably would fit OP's list of requirements. Maybe. YMMV

because this question is old, i'd like to just add this info for future reference:

6" 9mm pistols that are available new in europe, usually under 2500 euro:

- Tanfoglio Gold Match
- Heckler & Koch USP Elite
- Glock 17L
- STP Sparta 6.0
- STP Target Master 9
- Pro Tuning / STP 1911 6"
- Pro Tuning Taipan
- Pro Tuning 75 Sport 2
- Pro Tuning Shadow Viper
- Bul 1911 Hunter 6
- Schmeisser 1911 Hugo 6
- Club 30 C30 1911 6.0

thats basically it.

Tanfoglio is good quality, the glock and HK i myself wouldnt call competition pistols, and the others are assembled with parts usually sourced from the far east and quality can vary. (low demand, high costs in germany, so they have to cut a lot of corners)

My advice: get a used 6" pistol from a high end manufacturer.
They are made with quality parts, will usually last a life time and spare parts are in most cases still available.
