A Better Gun Range-NJ

For the past year, I have been going to Shore Shot in Lakewood, NJ. My membership runs out next week and now I'm looking for a new range with staff that won't but in as much. When my dad took my brother and I shooting, we could tell the staff got tense. They also told us "only a .22" when we wanted to rent a gun (with absolutely no knowledge of our shooting abilities). I just want a range that will let me (my dad) shoot or rent a gun while minding their own business. I understand that they have to keep everyone safe, but they go too far. Additionally, I live in Ocean Township and don't want to have to go too far to shoot (30 minutes max).

I'm sorry you feel that way about Shore Shot,I have been a member there for the past two years.I found the range officers very professionalin what they do,specially Phil,whom I had my most contact with.Judging by what you said,maybe you need to think twice before posting?.
