...it doesn't matter what you say or do, some folks will always be ready to give you a hard time.
When I let one of my sons set up his bedroom on the first floor of a three floor raised ranch home, half the people I know said that I was mean/awful for "banishing" (wtfh?!) him to a different floor than the rest of the household, and the other half of people (who "got" what we were getting at) said how wonderful to give him his own space, etc.
Give 'em guns at age five and some will crank about that...give 'em guns at 15 and some will crank about giving them at all, and/or waiting too long to give them ("MY gran'pappy put a loaded sixgun in my crib the minnit my mommy laid me in it every night just to git me used to it from day one"), etc.
And, best of all in gun circles, there is ALWAYS some self-appointed expert scrutinizing you/yours for evidence of your inferiority compared to their superiority...eg...the "finger on the trigger" so "you'd better get on that" gasp folks....sigh. They're the "you're fat" or "you don't have the right kind of lock on your suitcase" brigade...
Thanks for sharing the picture....some of us get the point of what you were getting at.
