A Christmas picture I e-mailed to everyone in my law firm caused a bit of a stir ...

I disagree. I've looked at that picture several times and it appears to me that the young man has his left index (trigger) finger just above the trigger guard and a hair or two below the bottom of the slide.

L.W.
I don't know if you're just being a contrarian, but his finger is clearly curled inward, not to mention the gun is pointed at his bro's foot :uhoh:.

Nice home, great kids, good guns... I see nothing but reasons for pride & joy.
Certainly nothing to "Oops" about !
Could there maybe be some envy among your colleagues ?

I can see why s:)ome would be upset. You should have bought them all Glocks.

I can see why some would be upset. You should have bought them all Sigs

There. Fixed it for ya.

I can see why some would be upset. You should have bought them all 1911's.

If you are going to fix it, let's at least get it right!

If god had meant for dogs to wear hats, he would have made their ears stisk out more.:neener:

And because it is Christmas, I don't believe the middle boy's finger is on the trigger either.

Very nice pic. I don't see any reason why your co-workers are in a stir? unless it's the guy in the center with his finger in the trigger gaurd. Nice looking kids and a beautiful tree. They look mature enough to handle guns safely. Nice choice in firearms too. Nothing wrong with Ruger.

Love the hat on the dog. That must have been what the stir was about. Ha ha ha

Have they shot the SR-9's yet? Damn fine gun... Damn Fine :D

That's a great picture, I don't see any reason to be upset... Then again, I'm not a liberal Democrat with a portable ostrich hole in my pocket :)

Can't believe that no one's brought up that the guy on the far right looks like he's doing a really BAD job of concealing whatever he has on his left hip. ;)

Looks like you might have two lefties. Good job!

Nice family, nice card. Big smiles (I would too) What's the issue again?

Apparently, the guns in the picture were noticed and pointed out by some co-workers, who are probably anti-gun liberal hippies.

Wonderful family Christmas photo

Very nice photo of you and the boys. comes out real dark on my screen. I had to really look hard. But good for you Dad if more parents would show their children the time and care Im sure you do. this country would be a better place. Now for their birtdays get them a reloading set up and have them re-load for the old man as practice Ha Ha LOL

...it doesn't matter what you say or do, some folks will always be ready to give you a hard time.

When I let one of my sons set up his bedroom on the first floor of a three floor raised ranch home, half the people I know said that I was mean/awful for "banishing" (wtfh?!) him to a different floor than the rest of the household, and the other half of people (who "got" what we were getting at) said how wonderful to give him his own space, etc.

Give 'em guns at age five and some will crank about that...give 'em guns at 15 and some will crank about giving them at all, and/or waiting too long to give them ("MY gran'pappy put a loaded sixgun in my crib the minnit my mommy laid me in it every night just to git me used to it from day one"), etc.

And, best of all in gun circles, there is ALWAYS some self-appointed expert scrutinizing you/yours for evidence of your inferiority compared to their superiority...eg...the "finger on the trigger" so "you'd better get on that" gasp folks....sigh. They're the "you're fat" or "you don't have the right kind of lock on your suitcase" brigade...

Thanks for sharing the picture....some of us get the point of what you were getting at.

I would have been upset to!

If I were his secret santa at the office and he didn't get me one, then passes that picture around. HumH!

The kid in the center has his finger inside the trigger guard. That is the "stir" I would have caused. He's got the dog by the neck and his finger on a trigger. Is fido being put down?

ROFL!!!! I actually saw the trigger guard thing too and was scrolling down before I posted it knowing someone caught it first...your response was much better than mine would have been:D
