I wanted to view one of the members of the collection of excellent threads and when I clicked on it, the xenforo system invited me to login again, which I attempted but was quickly rejected because: "you don't have admin privileges"
Perhaps there is some interaction with my Kaspersky / browser combination that I have to subvert/disable or maybe it was the intention of the OP that only Admin privileged users be able to view these threads?
Ok. I think something is awry in the server, not in my end but here's some more data.
Of the threads listed above, only one is a complete url, (Bedding a Rifle); the others are indirect urls requireing the showthread.php helper to run, and for me, this requires an 'account upgrade' whatever that means, but it prompted me to login as I described in my first reply above.
I can view the 'Bedding a Rifle' post. I agree - this was an 'excellent thread'.
By using the site search tool and clicking on the 'search titles only' box, I found the url of 'The original pine tar finish' and was able to click the link returned by the search engine and read it.
So there is a way around the xenforo login prompt.
To save time for any other members who encounter the same speed bump as I did, here are the complete urls (no 'showthread.php helper) for the list of threads above that require the showthread.php helper.
