Okay... I'm still new to the forum and the world of handguns, but here are a couple of photos of my new collection starter set :)

Photo 1: Smith & Wesson Model 31

Photo 2: Springfield Armory XD-9

The revolver was my mothers. She purchased it used, but hardly ever fired it. It's shoots a S&W 32 Long. I think it's a Model 31, but not sure. The pistol I know well. It is my first purchased handgun and I haven't had it two weeks. I love the Springfield XD-9!!

I took these images yesterday. I used a Canon 10D and a bounced Canon 550 Speedlite about 6 feet away. Buying handguns is going to put a serious hurt on my photography toys :)

Regards...

It's good to see a photo of a really nice .32 revolver. My apartment-dwelling sister bought an identical one (2" barrel) back in 1982 when she couldn't find a snub S&W .38 Spl. anywhere. It's been in her possession ever since.

23 years of peace of mind for less than $200 invested.

Awesome job! Great pictures, like the jacket. Looks like you need to break in that Springfield a bit more though! Get to the range!

Welcome! :)

Really love that Smith 31! I remember reading an article many years ago about how that's the best kitgun EVER. Just part of your 'kit' for walking in the woods and shooting targets of opportunity.

Shoot safe, shoot straight! :)

Nice .32 Caliber revolver! The first thing I thought of when I saw it was that Jim Croce song "Bad, Bad, Leroy Brown."

Nice XD I have one just like it. I found it to be reliable, user friendly, and exceptionaly accurate. Its been my primary carry gun since I bought it (until I get something smaller). Have fun!
