A dangerous combination ?

I use sport pistol. It works good with coated bullets. I also found out it ranks 13th on the burn rate chart. That came from Lymans 51st.

Yeah, I eventually picked up some Sport Pistol as well, I was interested in it's burn rate; thinking it would make a nice target/plinker powder for 9mm, 38spl and probably .45acp.
Plus, it was before all this current crazyness so was priced around $20-ish/lb.
Why not?

I eventually loaded quite a few 9mm with my home cast and PC'd (this time HF black, I've since switched to Eastwood powders, much better experience than the HF stuff) but, aside from my load workup, I never got the time to shoot em up so my experience with that is extremely limited so far but I'm pretty sure I could do without it and do the same thing with good old 231/HP-38

I'm not a huge fan of Titegroup.

I was given a 1lb bottle from a guy my wife works with and, not being experienced bout it by mistake.

Burns pretty hot but I did find a nice light load for the youngsters in .38spl which, IMHO is where that powder is best: small charge in a big(ger) case that isn't position sensitive.

I've had them loaded since April of 2020.
Suppose I could pull one of them and see what Titegroup might do...
