Hey everyone. I got back from Puerto Vallarta thursday. After having been there for almost a month away from my guns and my truck one of the first things I had planned was an outing up to my favorite shootin spot. Took a friend of mine, she'd never been. One more person who will no longer vote in favor of gun control laws ;)

There's a couple pics below, check out the rest at http://www.joeylink.com/gallery/album21/

God, its been almost a MONTH since i've been able to shoot any of my guns, and I'm having some serious withdrawals :( I have to drive to my parent's farm so I can shoot some soon, or I'm gonna have to break down and get a range membership to shoot my blackhawk and single six :(

At least ya was bustin some caps, and enjoyin the outdoors, in great fashion!
Too wet here to get out, and crummy weather!

Standard "new shooter" stance... :)

I did the same thing... only with a 30-06. Cured me right quick! :what: :D

Yeah shootin in a snowstorm is quite fun actually, lol. I love gettin out in the nasty weather. Next time I'm definately gonna chain up though!

In that particular picture she had just popped off a round, you can see how high she's aiming. She was doing that leaning back thing though, I kept correcting her.

I wanna sell my Saiga and that SAR1 and get an AR15 but I'm havin a hard time, the SAR1 is such a good shooter! All the girls I've taken, with the exception of one, have fell in love with the SAR1. That exception keeps tryin to talk me outta my SIG P226 ;)

where (geographically) are you guys at? I like the scenery.

Looks like a lot of fun, I need to get out as well, and yes I would reccomend you getting an ar 15, I have one, but I want your SAR, how much was it, and who made it?

We're in some hills off a road going from the town of st helens to vernonia, oregon. It's beautiful up there this time of year. I'm definately gonna get an AR-15 as soon as possible. I think the SAR1 is already accounted for, for $350. The guy really wants it and it's alot better than those POS WASR-10's they're sellin at all the gun shops around here. I don't remember what I paid for it. It was made in Romania and on the side it says "MADE BY CN ROMARM SA/CUGIR IN ROMANIA IMPORTED BY CAI GEORGIA, VT".

What is that jammed between her finger and trigger? A cig?

looks to me like a reflective portion of the jacket that showed up in the pic and likely reacted to the flash of the camera if one was used... and just appears to be on the side of the trigger guard closest to the camera... not sure tho, does she have reflective things on the upper sleeves of her coat?
