I got a couple of college friends to go with me to the range. One had never fired a gun and the other had a little experience. The weather was very nice and all went well except for a couple .22lr primer failures.

Gotta be aesthetics. No offense, but the only thing uglier than a butthole stock is a mangled butthole stock.

Just aesthetics on my part, as I've never shot the thumbhole stock. Could be ergonomics, too, but I wouldn't know.

That stock is the reason I didn't buy a WASR. Wasnt about to spend $150 more for the pistol grip.

My question: Are those stock easily interchangable? If they are, I may still have to pick one up.

Yes, they are easily interchangeable.

Step 1: Take off old stock.

Step 2: Put on new stock.
