To the paper's credit, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel ran an incredible article today that gives much insight into how punks think.

The article also gives those in Wisconsin who are prone to write pro-RKBA articles a lot of meat.

It's a long article, so here's the link.

I guess not ALL criminals are completely stupid. At least one of these guys "planned" how to go about their robbin' and thievin'. Bothersome, isn't it?

Mark.

Lots of people poke fun at criminals and assume they are all one step away
from total incompetence. However there are plenty of BG's out there that put a lot of time, effort and planning into their criminal enterprises. They frequently are successful in crime for long periods of time and only get caught or stopped because of a moments carelessness a simple oversight, or plain dumb bad luck on their part.
And a lot of these guys actively attend Criminal U while in the big house. They
swap stories, play whatif's and teach each other what did or did not work for them. They evolve and adapt in their evil ways just as normal people have to evolve and adapt in ways to protect themselves.

For every numbnut who can't think ten minutes into the future their is a Lex Luthor wannabe who is itching to see if he can get away with something.
And frequently they succeed.

Yeah, Hardtarget, they did plan. And they planned to go to places where they were pretty sure that victims would be defenseless.

This was a three or four-page article in the newspaper, and there's more to come.

For those from WI, please read the article thoroughly and point out where someone with a CCW permit could have stopped these thugs.

I still remember the Popeye Chicken restaurant murder. A woman made to kneel on the ground, her daughter watching, while the punk put a shotgun to the back of the woman's head and fired.

Gee, the Journal Sentinel had photographs of these latest two punks in their jail cells. Why didn't the JS show the bits and pieces of that woman's head?

"It's in they code of ethics, man. 'Somebody come in there, give it up. Don't fight with 'em, give it up.' Two dudes come in here, brandishing weapons and stuff, why argue with 'em, man? Give it up. It ain't yo' money . . . Don't put your life on the line for this, man."

As if just giving up the money will keep you safe.

Restaurants are not so worried about their employees as they are worried about a massive wrongful death suit should an employee shoot back and kill an innocent.

It does prove, and later in the article is more proof that scum will shy away from people they think will fight back.

Every politician, bureaucrat or cop that has stood in the way of a rightous person being armed and said person ends up dead, should be held as an accomplice.

"Everybody we robbed was our own people, black people," Reynolds said. "I got this thing: I don't mess with them (white people), and they don't mess with me. I mess with people who I know I can pull it and get away with it with. Mess with the other people, they gonna send them people at us."

Kinda interesting.....

Reynolds thought the designated victim would be selling his marijuana near the Shell at 37th and Villard, and he directed Bolden there. They parked the car, got out and stood on the sidewalk across Villard from the gas station, watching as the blue Camaro pulled up. A white man got out, and immediately, their plans changed. "I would imagine that they would see a white guy, they'd think he's vulnerable," said Rhodes, part of the crew but not with Reynolds and Bolden that night. "He probably wouldn't be carrying no gun, nine times out of 10 he wouldn't. They felt he was vulnerable, they felt he was weak, felt he was easy prey."

Life in Wisconsin where CCW is illegal...

Whew! Thankfully my Camaro is red! :p
Those guys need to be dealt with in the only method they understand. Relying on the evil person's sense of pity or remorse isn't a winning strategy.
