Would be nice to have neutrality yet the $ speak and or ratings drivin by the various advertisers. Coupled in with whomever owns the media will have their spin, becomes a fantasy. Is a hard line to please the masses and the masses have obtained their views based on the propaganda spread by the same. Works both ways, I find it amazing how there can be many interpretations.

One of the other forums I'm on there was a discussion on being PC in these times. Between the vernacular and region there really isn't a neutral ground without being offensive.

Glad we can discuss these issues.

Jordan Michaels began the article with, "A historic newspaper in Los Angeles caved last week to unnamed “educational and political partners” when editors decided to halt the publication of a pro-gun article highlighting a local gun shop and training service." This was vague enough but the body of the article itself seemed to me to be couched in supposition pretty much.

I suspect that editorial criteria is the sole domain of the experienced powers-that-be of the newspaper itself and they are well aware of all the publication parameters therein.

The ultimate tool lies with the person who pays for or reads a newspaper or magazine or watches or listens to an advertisement. It is all ultimately word for hire.
