I contacted my congressman a few days asking him to help support our second amendment rights during this troubled time and I received a shocking response from him in the mail today. A full page letter that basically says he thinks its outrageous that some are making political moves due to this tragedy and that he fully supports our second amendment right. The best part he he stated that there was once a assault rifle ban and studies have shown there were no correlation between it and a reduction in gun related crimes. With closing he states he will do everything in his power to make sure our rights and these important documents from our forefathers are left alone.
