Was invited to join a friend to shoot sporting clays, had never done it before.
I've shot skeet and trap, but have to say I enjoyed this much more. In fact, aside from possibly hunting, i found it to be the most fun I've had with a shotgun.
If you've never done it before, it consists of different areas that you walk to, each with clay bird throwers that throw in different directions. In this course, it was 2 at each station, and with a remote to throw one or both. This place was set up in the woods, and had hills and gullies that had the birds shot at you, away from you, left, right, high, low, etc. The course was 50 rounds, 4 to 6 shots per station.
Worth trying if you're like me and late to the game.
