As I am looking throught the cabinet to see if there is anything I can part with to raise a little cash for a project I am fixing to start, I come to my two swedes. One is last years deer rifle, a Tikka T3 stainless synthetic. The other is the recently acquired(NIB) CZ that had not been shot yet, but has a SWEET factory target with it. The CZ is the new style stock that I like the more I handle it. The new style also feels lighter than the old style. I also like the synthetic stock of the Tikka.
Anyway, if I were to part with one, which would you guys recommend? If I have to part with something, I like for it to be something that would be easily replaced down the road if I so decide, that is why I am looking at these two.
So which one wil it be? The Tikka is stainless. The CZ has pretty wood. The Tikka has a smooth bolt. The CZ has a single set trigger. Then there is the whole plastic vs metal debate that someone will chime in about..
According to my bathroom scales, and I weighed both 3 seperate times, placing in different locations on the scale, The CZ weighed appx 1/4 a pound more than the Tikka. Both are sporting the same nikon scope. Only difference is the gun itself.
The only thing left to do is to flip a coin...........
