My thanks go to him and the business he works at in Bessemer, Alabama. Great bunch of people there and Ala Dan is to notch. If you are going to be in that area, drop Ala Dan a note and get the business name and address. Great prices there. Picked up an Uncle Mike's soft holster for the XD40-SC and a case of .40 ammo in 165gr and 180gr from him while I was there. Once again, thanks to them.

Hello My Fellow High Roaders-

I wish too thank Mr. and Mrs. Phaetos for stopping in today (11-05-05)
at Simmons Sporting Goods, located (as my long time friend Capbuster
has eluded too) in Bessemer, AL. It was my sincere pleasure meeting
these fine folk's from the great state of Lousiana, and we certainly do
appreciate their patronage of our business. I'm very glad that I was
able to be of service to another fellow High Road member. And I would
like too extend an open invitation to any and all member's to do the
same, and visit our showroom and business. I'm looking forward to
a long and continous friendship with Mr. and Mrs. Phaetos, such as
I have established with many members on this forum.

Yes, my long time friend Capbuster and I go back a long ways; as it
was he who introduced me to handloading in December of 1972. Back
in the early days, his knowledge of this subject saved my rear end on
many occassions. Our love of firearms led both of us to distinguished
career's in law enforcement where we helped serve all citizens of our
community, county, and state for many years.

I could sit here and go on and on with this list of friends, well wishers,
and members who I have come in contact with our the years but time
and bandwidth won't permitt me too do so. So in closing, let me say
always take The High Road.
