Don't trust the reviews at all and buy IN PERSON.
The problem with that like other CZ guns in general is that they are not often carried in decent inventory for you to try the model you want at the shop even if they stock them.
If you DO find one with a good trigger, buy it. It may be the minority report.
There is only ONE review I've seen that has ANYTHING negative to say about the P10 trigger except one dealer who commented that the OR models seemed more gritty in the inventory that they saw and that they smoothed out with a hundred rounds.
I'll call Sootch out - he went as far as to say that the P10C trigger was better than the PPQ.
Here is where I will throw a football sized stadium BS flag.
I've felt many P10 triggers now and not one has been close to a PPQ much less a PDP or Canik. I've heard more than one reviewer say that they are close to a PDP. This is nonsense as a general statement.
I don't doubt that there are specimens out there that are better than the average Glock OTB. I have TWO OR models now (C and F) and the trigger sucks OTB, and the C went back to CZ and came back no different.
They were heavy, sticky, and inconsistent. 95% of the time they stick in the forward position only to break all the way to the rear, thus doubling over travel - which is counterproductive to accuracy. Neither was Glock quality. I would put ANY Glock trigger over these P10 models.
The point is this: CZ SF triggers are no different than their hammer guns - its a total crap shoot - if you order blind you are rolling the dice and the odds are against you getting one close to as good as the ones the reviewers get. I think if you added up the reviewers and put them in a category, you end up with the impression that the P10 trigger is MUCH better than a Glock and rivals a PPQ. This is utter nonsense.
I have other CZ guns and have shot many over the years and can tell you that their triggers while shootable, are all over the map. A minority are GTG OTB.
Buy in person. (I realize that 5 guys will respond that they own 4 and all are great - I get it - just a word to the wise).
