A5 buffer setup?

Wow! I go away for a couple days with no net access and the thread explodes. I appreciate all input and have enjoyed all the related discussion.

Let me throw out some more info to see if it helps. I have two ARs and no plans for more.

Rifle 1 - Aero lower, RRA NM 2-stage trigger. Daniel Defense "MOE+" upper from about 2014 (mid-length gas, 16" barrel, A2 birdcage), and I think a BCG from Palmetto. This gun has dedicated iron sights - triangle front and RRA rear; I built it as a lightweight fun and teaching rifle. I would at least consider the A5 buffer on this one.

Rifle 2 - Anderson lower, ALG ACT single-stage trigger. BCM BFH upper, BCM BCG - 16" mid-gas with a Wilson Combat Q-comp - with red-dot and magnifier combo. This is the gun I'm most interested in making a little faster/smoother to shoot, so I'd put an A5 on here first.

So, this is all about reducing felt recoil a bit and hopefully being able to run the gun a little faster. I have no interest in adjustable gas blocks or messing with an otherwise mil-spec BCG, and I much prefer flash hiders so going to a loud muzzle brake or whatever isn't for me. Any other info much appreciated!
