Abercrombie & Fitch shotguns

I saw a 12 gauge SxS on the internet, listed as a BLE made in Belgium. I know A&F Was an outfitter, just wondering if this is a Browning gun, what does BLE mean, and or any info the High Road may be able to share.

BLE stands for BoxLock Ejector. A&F imported some very good guns. Probably not a Browning if its a SxS. But there were some excellent builders in Belgium that built world class shotguns.

Abercrombie imported a lot of Francotte SXS.

I agree. They imported a lot of Auguste Francotte guns.
