Making it pretty isn't gonna make suck less.

Glad that you were willing to condescend to our station and present us with your well reasoned response.

Purely from a utilitarian view, adjustable LOP and cheek riser is definitely a plus for usability. Rails are there if you need 'em, otherwise, well, they're just there.

Allow me to put it another way: Wrapping a nice stock around a mini-14 isn't going to make the mini-14 a better weapon.

I think the cliché goes: "That's like puttin' lipstick on a pig"

the claim is increase accuracy by 25% or a 1.5 MOA...

The rail is awesome because that is the real draw back on the Mini 14. hard to mount optics.

You can have a bad ass system for less then 900 bucks new.

Haters will always be haters.

Or, as I like to put it, "Like mounting a diamond in a turd." The Mini-14 is an okay weapon, but there's much, much better rifles for the money. Even quality AK variants like Saigas are more accurate at half the cost. Fact is, the cost-to-performance ratio of the Mini-14 is very, very poor. Anything like this you do is just throwing good money after bad.

I have had a few of the things and still have one now. They are what they are. What I find interesting with that stock is it kind of makes the mini look like a Saiga that is a much better buy.
