Added some stuff to the collection today.

Well I had a bunch of gun deals go down today. I figured I would share if anyone is intrested. First off I picked up my ne Kahr MK40 with night sights. It is a really nice gun. I sold my Glock 27 for it and I think that I made a good choice. It is quite a bit smaller than the Glock and the trigger is really nice. The gun shop also had a Kahr PM9 and I compared the 2. The trigger on the PM was much stiffer and grittier. Also the recoil spring on the PM seemed to be alot stiffer. Over all I liked the MK alot more. I will post a range report as soon as possible.

Also today my buddy asked me if I would buy his Sig 229 off of him. He is having some financial difficulties and asked if I was intrested in it. It is a 229 in .40S&W with about 600rnds through it. He sold it to me for $500. Is this a good deal? I just wanted to help him out. I am not really a Sig guy, but I did what a freind has to do. Maybe it will grow on me.

Also I was offered a Stainless Beretta Tomcat with 5 mags for $250. Is this a good deal? New regular Tomcats go for about $350 around here. He says it is in like new condition with only about 300rnds. Should I get it? I would have to wait a couple of weeks for this one as after the other two deals I am tapped out. Let me know your thoughts, Thanks Juan.

You done good on the first two although I don't really care for the .40. IMO the Kahr is a much better gun than the Glock. I would pass on the Tomcat at any price. I've never owned one but have heard they have problems.

the tomcat may be a good deal to turn around and resell...if it is in good condition..

the kahr is a gooder...keep that one..

You will like the sig..if not, you can gift it to me.
