Adult Single Shot .22?

You should be able to find a Winchester Model 67 single-shot, .22rf rifle in good condition for a couple of hundred dollars or so. Plenty accurate for what it is and the stocks are man-sized and made from real walnut. Parts breakage shouldn't be an issue because there aren't many parts to break. Model 67s weren't "cool" back in the day but some of us think they are now.

I want to add one more thing, as this thread made me grab 3 22's yesterday after work and ride down to the range out back, Along for the ride was a wz-48 (Mosin look alike) a Mauser dsm34 (98k look alike) and for some reason something that will shoot really really fast, a 1906 winchester 22.

My bench sits at 98 yards from the targets, why 98.....I am just too damn afraid of poison ivy, even if uma thurman is stupid hot. Spin the table long ways (I shoot off a home made 8' long wooden pick nick type table) and practice prone. Dinging an 8" plate at this range is just a bore with any of these rifles, I have smaller and larger plates that provide some challenge. I am taking a rest from shooting, my arm is killing me roll over to my back and in that split second I am transported back to a time of years gone by. I can't tell you how long I laid back there just looking at the clouds, long enough that the wife came looking for me worried about another incident. (Health issues) What you doing, just taking a rest and looking at clouds. You stopped shooting 30 min ago, I thought something was wrong....oh sorry, I was worried....its good for you to worry.....I am going to punch you in the di*k if you say that one more time.
Fun stuff.

Trust me OP, you really need to give this a try, I am not saying you will get as much pleasure as I do, but for the entry fee and costs of care and feeding you really can't knock a single shot 22.
