My 10 22 does not get much exercise lately either. I love it but ammo is hard to come by.

If Wideners ever gets them in again, this is one of my all time favorite guns of any caliber. I paid $169.00 last year, it was a new rifle, built in 1952, never shot. It is super accurate, nice to shoot and nice to look at.

It's amazing how common that design was back in that time period. That action looks like it came right off my Stevens 15-B. Stevens made guns for a lot of people in those days. It makes me wonder. I know my Stevens 15-B shoots very accurate.

Hello Capybara,,,

You said:

What do you mean by that?

Was this a gun they got more than one of?

I'm just curious if it was maybe a military trainer or some such.

If they ever get any more in,,,
After you buy your second,,,
Please let me know where.

Later my friend,,,

Well I'm officially bummed,,,

Well I'm officially bummed,,,
And more than a bit ticked off. :cuss:

I drove to the city where my brother lives,,,
We went to my sisters barn where we all have stuff stored.

The old wood case he made in shop class for his rifle was empty!

The rifle had to have been removed several years ago,,,
There was at least 1/4" of dust laying on the case,,,
I wonder how much my thief cousin got for it.

Oh well,,,
Spilt milk and all that. :(

Brnos were manufactured in Czechoslovakia by CZ and that's a lifetime find right there. Don't hold your breath for more unfired examples, used ones are scarce enough.
