I am thinking about getting an adantage arms .22 kit for a Glock G22.
Does any one have one and want do you think of it?
Does you feel shooting the .22 helps with shooting full size loads?

Thanks in advance for posting your experience.

( I Did a search and so far from what I can glean the feedback is positive though the kits tend to only function properly with cci stinger ammo )

I've had an AA conversion kit for my G22 for about a year. It is definitely ammo sensitive; mine prefers Mini-Mags but Federal bulk pack works if I'm willing to accept a FTE every other magazine or so. I haven't found a subsonic target load that will consistently cycle the action. A good cleaning every 200-300 rounds is necessary or else reliability starts to suffer.

Overall, I rate the conversion kit very highly. Practicing with it has definitely made me shoot my Glocks better while saving me a small fortune vis-a-vis the cost of loaded centerfire ammo or reloading components. Most importantly, it's just plain fun to shoot!

I have one on a G29 and highly recommend it. Works great with CCI and Remington golden and pretty good with Federal and Winchester bulk pack. Federal does have the most malfunctions for me though.

I have one for my G19 and it has so far run flawlessly with Remington Golden Bullets (yeah, I know, I'm trying to run through them & not buy any more!).

Matai: Could you give me the specifics on this? I just got a AA conversion kit for my G21sf and would be interested in increasing the capacity.

Thanks.

Thanks for the input

Thanks for the input. It sounds like this will be a good investment when I can afford it. I was pretty close but then yesterday my wallet got attacked by a great deal on a barely used Rem 870....
