Nicely done video. I'm looking forward to seeing the 7.62 version. Where's that vid? ;)

Do you have the specs on these suppressors? The 5.56 and the 7.62 versions?

The cans will be available after the first of the year, they're saying first or second week of Jan. At that point the specs will be published.

What I can say is that it's less than 7" long and weighs less than 20oz. I also have two on order for myself. I will leave the 556 on my AKS-74U and I will put the 7.62x39 can on my Saiga SGL21-94.

I will post more videos about the cans once I get mine.

Whoa, this definitely has my curiosity up. A 7.62 x 39 can that doubles as a 9mm? That sounds seriously cool. I had been planning on a Liberty Mystic (due to its versatility), but this shows promise.

Nice video. Now that we can have them here in MI, I am dying to get one.

They are just so danged expensive. Hard to justify to wife :banghead:

Come on, Pyzik, even with the tax stamp, most suppressors are under $1000 retail price. That's like a pair of Glocks, or a decent bolt-action rifle and scope! Suppressors aren't that expensive, but they ARE a pain to wait for. Took 5 1/2 months to clear my 9mm suppressor. I think I may grab the .30-cal version of this Huntertown Arms can...looks pretty great! Gotta wait until January for the reveal, though, apparently :-(

:( Yeah, not really in our budget. I am not in a postion where a pair of Glocks "ain't no thang".

i understand that silencers can be expensive, but you wanna see REAL expense, get the machinegun bug. hell, i wish i was just craving a silencer, that would've been a lot less painful than satisfying this other urge was.

btw - i'm sure folks will notice i sometimes use the term "Silencer". some folks will even say that is incorrect that it is a "Suppressor". however, being that the first dude to ever make one called it a silencer, i feel it's an acceptable term :)

If you can deal with a few shortcomings, you can actually get into a suppressor fairly cheap. There are plenty of $200 cans out there. They're not for me simply because I need stainless, but there are a ton of people happy with their Tac65's and other cans in that catagory.

Another idea is to get a decent lathe. Then you can (legally) build all the silencers you want and just have to pay the stamp on them.
