I have a BAR MK 2 lightweight stalker. I had the stock cut off a few years back to shorten the LOP but the guy didn't do a very good job and it bothers me. I would like to put I higher quality aftermarket stock on it. What are my options?

Thanks for the options. Those first ones looks decent. Was hoping more of a high end synthetic a Macmillan but they don't make anything for the BAR

Generally I don't think of synthetic when someone says 'higher quality aftermarket stock', that means good wood to me. Those laminate stocks should be some of the toughest available.

For non-wood have you looked at these guys? http://www.stocks-rifle.com/twopcstk.htm

You might also try ebay.

The B&C stock is junk. A McMillan synthetic will cost $600-$700 and is certainly high quality, but they don't offer anything for a Browning. I don't know of anyone who makes a decent synthetic for anything but a bolt rifle.

Call Browning. The factory synthetics they offer on the Stalker version is better than any aftermarket stock you'll find and likely won't cost any more. If it is just LOP that you need to correct you might be able to have it cut again and a recoil pad added to get the length back. Or simply order another walnut stock from the options listed above or straight from Browning.

The problem with ordering from Browning is that the factory synthetic that came on my MK 2 stalker is the LOP is too long. I believe the way the stock is designed there isn't enough material in the butt of the stock to cut it off. It's essentially a hollow piece of plastic. You can pinch my modified stock just in front of the recoil pad and it will compress in 1/4" on each side. Just feels like cheap junk. I really like this rifle as it's a tack driver and thought it would be nice to have a quality solid synthetic stock on there. Again I wouldn't call the stock from browning synthetic. I'd call it plastic.
