BAR rifle stock replacement help please

Hi Guys/Gals I have a like new Browning BAR 30-06 made in 1991. The only problem I have is that the wood stock is just too nice to drag through the woods. I would like to replace it with a synthetic stock or if that fails with beat up wood that is still functional. I have seen several stocks for sale but they are for the stalker and various other models. Will they fit the standard high power rifle model? Anbody have source for whatever will fit?

IIRC, either Choate or Bell and Carlson make a replacement stock. As to specific models, I'd double check with the manufacturers.
