looking for an aftermarket stock for my savage 12fv in .223 I like bell and carlson medalist stock and I found a company called richards microfit gunstocks that look like they have some good ones but I don't know if they have any in my guns size. Anyone know any good ones or have any info on richards stocks:confused:

Richards are good, but it will be a wait, and you'll probably have to do the final fitting and finishing. I'm really happy with both of my B&C medalist tacticals.

B&C still doesn't inlet for the new straight feed magazine configuration, at least not as of a few weeks ago. These guys do, but they are running behind schedule by a couple of weeks, at least on mine. I've had one Richards, be prepared for a lot of inletting and finishing, mine was bought a few years ago but from what I hear it hasn't changed much.

I've got the LVT on order for mine:

I want an LVT. Why don't you loan that to me, so I can see how good it looks on my 6.5X47 Lapua? I think Stockade is making stocks for the new centerfeed actions. I just didn't realize that was what we were looking for; I always assume it's the old style.

i made this out of he origonal 110 stock. its not awsome, but i like it!!!:D

if you are kinda krafty, you could try to re-work your stock, but sometines its easier to just buy one. brian

Skinewmexico, just drop by Houston any time and I'll let you see what it looks like, that's as close as it will get to loaning. :) They told me it should ship the end of this week, but they also said that back in January.

Stockade also makes them to fit the new models as you mentioned, and there was one more place but I don't remember the site right now.
