Paul, Kris, Frank, John and his daughter came over for a little shooting this afternoon, but I think my 7 year old Michaela had more fun than the big boys shooting at her new .22 target.

She improved to the point where she loaded 5 rounds and knocked all the targets upright and popped them down for the next round.:D

Some of what the guys tried. While Michaela had no problems with her AR, 2 of the FALs had extraction problems and a Glock jammed.:scrutiny:

Well it's nice to know your kid can shoot too bad we can't see the pics. Make sure she washes her hands thoroughly after shooting because of the lead.

Not to worry Kodiaz. She shot in long sleeves so she can drop her jacket in my office and then she washes hands and face right after.

The guys joke that her first date will have a very difficult time of things since she'll expect him to carry her range bag, order sushi, and have tickets to a play before even talking with him.

Yes, but at least you won't have to run off undesirable suitors with your shotgun - by then, it'll be her shotgun, and she'll do it for you! :D

If I've got suitors when I'm 58 she'll need more than a shotgun to run them off.:neener:

Oh, you mean HER suitors.

She won't need a gun. She should be able to paralize them with a glance (or a glancing blow).

I've got to say that she's the cutest thing when she literally slaps the base of the mag with the palm of her hand like she's seen us do.

BTW, the green buttstocked FAL is from a R1.

I was able to help John's GF (in yellow) out. She hadn't shot in 12 years and I had a nice little Winchester 67A for her to refresh her skills.
