Okay, looking at my 12 FV with Accutrigger, it has varmint barrel and if I recall correctly can be lowered to 2.0 - 2.5 lbs. I see the 10T-SR, with a target version of Accutrigger can be lowered to 1.5 lbs. Further online reading ( for what that is worth ) seems to hold that my gun and the target version have slightly different "springs" ( not sure which ones ) and that is the discrepancy.

Before I call Savage and confuse myself further buying and installing springs that may be the same as I have, does anyone have clarity to add to this question?

According to My Lyman digital trigger gauge, I have it down to just under 2 lbs., 1 lbs 13-15 oz or so. From what I am reading, I may already have the spring I ordered in my guns.

If the new spring won't lower it further, it is my understanding that if a sign a waiver for Savage, I can buy the entire target trigger assembly.
