I don't know that it makes me a better shot but tailoring my ammo for each gun makes IT more accurate. This may sound funny but it allows me to "become one with the gun". I feed it what it likes and it pays me back with better groups. A partnership of sorts, lol Bill

I'm still in the HOLY COW! camp as far as reloading goes. what that means is I am half surprised that it goes BANG when I pull the trigger.

For me anyways, reloading allows me to immerse myself into shooting. When I was younger all I wanted was to pull the trigger as fast as I could, now I like to plan each shot make notes of conditions and what load, case etc I am using. I like shooting both handguns and rifles, but I reload pistol ammo to save money but I reload rifle ammo for the "complete" experience. To me, becoming a "rifleman" involves alot of dicipline and the reloading allows me to gain more understanding into the art of high power rifle shooting. While I am far from being a "rifleman" or "Marksman" or whatever you want to call it I do think reloading helps me get closer to that goal. Of course then again when I started using computers, it was not long till I was building them myself and I have been eversince. I like being able to squeeze every last bit of performance out of computer hardware and I would like to do that with reloading ammo as well. The hard part will be squeezing the performance out of Me.
