A GOOD DAY IN MY BACKYARD. TWO IN THE TRAP AND ANOTHER TWO CAME TO JOIN THEM! USED MY CROSMAN QUEST 1000X WITH A BSA 3-9X32 AND DAISY .177 FIELD POINT PELLETS. KILLED A TOTAL OF 23 SQUIRRELS IN MY BACK YARD THIS SEASON. BAITING WITH CORN. HERE ARE SOME PICS:cool:

Great job. I wish I had the room to do the same, but I don't, so the squirrels jsut get to run arounde doing their thing. Only went squirrel hunting a few times this year, and I managed to score only a single red squirrel:( Had I brought some squirrel shells alonjg when I went deer hunting, I would probably have been in the double digits (i deer hunt with a shotgun), because I saw a whole lot more then.

least you have squirrls ive got the property but no squirrls there doin this thing of ''living away from me'' :) Ohhh....great job!:D

Does the scope help alot

I have a Quest 1000 to and I wanted to know if the scope helps any? And did you get that scope out of the box because when I put the one from the box on mine it was totally unnaccurate.

I would have to assume that the air rifle is so quite that it doesn't even spook them. I have often thought about having one at the deer stand. Those gray squirrels have about carried me off the past two seasons. They like coming to my feeder. Have seen as many as 10 at one time eating up my deer corn. Some fat ones at that.

Nothing better than a crisp fall afternoon squirrel hunting....aahhhh, the good times.

I've taken my Contender with .22 barrel to the blind for that. But, if you're deer hunting, it make a good "pow". I spent some time shooting CB shorts out of it today, though. Think's accurate with 'em! Of course, it's accurate with anything. I was shooting at 25 yards with CB shorts and put five rounds out of my Remington M512X into a ragged hole you could cover with a dime. That's pretty danged decent for a gun chambered in long rifle I thought! Now, if only I has squirrels in MY back yard... I'm out on the edge of town, but I still don't think I'd wanna shoot up in a tree here with a CB short, though. It ain't very powerful, but it sure could come down somewhere you don't want it to. I'm wondering about those pellets, though, too.
