Anyone have experience with Ahlman's of Morristown Minnesota? The reason I ask: Last night I had the opportunity to shoot a S&W 617 that had action work done by Ahlman's. The trigger was remarkable ; approx 9# in da (and this is a rimfire mind you ...) , 2.5# sa , so smooth it felt hydraulic. Probably the best double action trigger I have handled. The owner informed me that the cost was reasonable and turnaround was prompt. I have a m. 36 no dash flat latch Chiefs Special that is a bit gritty in reset ; I'm thinking of getting it improved. Ahlman's , anyone?
