Hi guys, I picked up an Aimpoint 3000 red dot scope yesterday at a small town gun show for 50 bucks. Are these any good? I have a Colt AR flat top that I might put it on but I'm kind of confused about how to go about it. Wouldn't the front sight post be in the way? Is there some way to mount the scope higher and get another rear sight for co witness? If so what are some options? Right now I have the carrry handle rear sight on there. Maybe leave the AR alone and put it on my G-22? I have a cheapo red dot on a Ruger Charger, would the Aimpoint be better? It seems to be well built but I'm sure it's out of production. Any opinions about this 3000? Thanks
