I've got a rear Mojo sight on order for my Czech VZ24 Mauser. I'm going to use that in the mean time while I shop around for a scout scope (to later use with the B-Square mount).

I measured the distance from the rear of the original iron sight to my eye to be about 12.5 inches. Granted, the rear of the scope will protrude more to the rear cutting the distance.

Currently the only scope I found with about 10 inches of eye relief is the Leupold M8-2.5x28mm Intermediate Eye Relief Scout with 9.30 inches of eye relief.

Are there any other solid scout scopes with an eye relief of approx 10 inches?

I want to avoid the red dot. While I love red dot sights (I have an Aimpoint Comp ML2 on my AR), I want to go with a scout scope.

Yeah. The Burris is the only other one I found. And at the price of the Burris, I might as well get the Leupold.

I've shot both the Burris and Leupold. The leupold is the better optic in my observation.

The B square mount is servicable if you don't want to modify the rifle. If you don't mind some mods, the mount from XS Sights (Ashley Outdoors) works very well, mounts the scope lower, and looks better
