Aimpoint Pro Co-witness

I have a S&W M&P 15 Sport and have Magpul MBUS backup rear sights (gen 2). I am wanting to get an Aimpoint Pro for the rifle. Will the optic and BUIS be a true co-witness or a lower 1/3? Thanks!

I have a S&W MP15 with the same sights and an AIMPOINT PRO. yes, you can co-witness. works like a champ. great optic, great rifle. good luck finding ammo.

there's a spacer -- you can choose to do either.

Thanks for the help! One more question, I want/need to zero my MBUS sights, but am unsure how. I am used to zeroing with the M16 A2, which has the elevation knob, in addition to the windage, whereas the MBUS only have windage. I'd like to go with the Army 25 meter zero (it's what I'm used to). Do I just place a target at 25m and make sure POA and POI are the same?

Yes, if you want to zero at 25m just put a target at 25 and make POI match POA.

You will adjust the height of the front post for zero'ing purposes.
