Got a break-barrell walther from cabella's and except for the fact i cant keep a scope mounted tightly on it for very long it's an awesome gun !! factory sight are elevatio/windage adjustable so it brings me back to fundamentals of breathing/trigger control.. i really like optics though, any good recommendations for scope that handle the "shock" ??

I've got a Gamo Big Cat 1200, too. I like it a lot. It's powerful, accurate, and affordable. Although I don't think it is in the same class as my friend's Benjamin Marauder. I did an in depth review on it here if you want to do a search.

I've also had a Webley Hurricane for many years. Somehow I managed to break the rear sight. It's decently powerful (I think 475 fps in .177), decently accurate, trigger is kind of rough, though. Still, I like it.

I've got a Beeman P3 pistol and this year I bought a Weihrauch HW30S in .177 cal. The whole family had a blast a couple years ago with evening can shooting contests on the front porch of the cabin while on vacation. The HW30S provides quite a bit more power and is good for pests. I use it on Starlings as they like to roost under our roof. It is accurate as hell and you can get quite creative with your shots. It is also very quiet, but will easily punch a hole through cans or even metal gutters. It would probably work as a squirrel gun in a pinch, just for taking out backyard rats with head shots.

Got a Remmy 77 air rifle and a Crossman 1377 pistol I use the Remmy to kill field mice that gather round the bird feeder in the evenings. The RATS get my dose of lead using 22 subsonics from my bolt action 22.
